This year’s symposium theme is "Breaking the Silence: Demystifying Black Mental Health." We want to highlight the importance of open dialogue, education, and support systems in addressing mental health challenges faced by Black individuals and families.
The symposium will feature:
Keynote: Mayoral Candidate, Jonathan Barfield Jr.
Engaging Plenary Discussion led by mental health professionals, advocates, and community leaders
Resource Booths where attendees can discover local mental health services and programs
Networking Opportunities with mental health professionals, community advocates, and those passionate about promoting mental health awareness in the Black community
Info: Several mental health experts, and mental health advocates will discuss pertinent issues and take questions from the audience.
