Car Seat Checkpoint – Keeping Wilmington’s Kids Safe

Do you live or work in Wilmington? Join us for our upcoming Car Seat Checkpoint, where Wilmington Police Officers certified as Child Safety Seat Technicians will be on hand to inspect child car seats and ensure they’re installed properly and securely.

Our certified technicians will work directly with parents and caregivers to demonstrate correct installation and proper child restraint use. Whether you're a first-time parent or just want to double-check your setup, we’re here to help.

Grab a cup of coffee and have a friendly chat with your local officers while we work together to keep Wilmington’s youngest passengers safe. Activities will be available for children ages 2–6 during the event.
