We want to serve everyone in an orderly and fair manner, so please note the guidelines below. Not abiding by these guidelines may forfeit your participation:
1) This event is for grades K thru high school seniors. NO preschool, Head Start, or college students.
2) We service primarily Clinton County students. (Other students will be considered on a case-by-case basis.)
3) The shopping will be a monetary limit per student. Students K-5th shop at Walmart with a budget of $125. Students 6th-12th shop at Kohl’s with a budget of $200. There will still be an approved list, but you decide what items to buy. (Some parents of older students prefer to shop Walmart because of the driving convenience. That is acceptable as well. But as a rule, no student under 6th grade shops Kohls.)
4) At registration you will be required to show a medical card and school grade verification.
The medical card can be from private or public health insurance. We use medical cards as a form of custody verification. As such, if you lack this proof, it forfeits participation for that student.
*Due to many fraudulent attempts, we can no longer accept photos of medical cards- it must be physically presented or pulled up in an insurance app.
*If your child/grandchild is in foster care in Clinton County their Foster Guardians will need to register them.
For school verification, be prepared to show a registration letter, school correspondence, grade card, or Progress Book (online school communication portal) to verify school/grade. Homeschoolers will be handled on a case by case basis. ***COME PREPARED*** your spot will not be saved if you have to return later to provide needed items.

SUN JULY 13th 3pm-6pm
MON JULY 14TH 5pm-8pm
Come to the Compassion Wilmington main office 200 R Gordon Drive. The grey building at end of church driveway, at the back of the property. In the event you are unable to register those days (for whatever reason: work, vacation, illness, etc) You will have to wait to see if spots remain. NO PRE-REGISTRATIONS before these dates.
