You are not your grief. We are all humans that expend energy. Grief is a 'pack' that we carry sometimes unwittingly, that siphons our energy. If your pack has become too heavy please join us in releasing this unneeded weight that no longer serves you.
We will join together with Katie Estberg, Clinical Psychologist, Pharmacologist, and Behavior Analyst to liberate our souls from events, disappointments, and shame that no longer service us. In the circle we start with a guided meditation and grounding exercises, followed by a grief ritual of taking this grief and sorrow out of our bodies, minds, and souls, and surrendering it.
Grief and sorrow are usually taken and buried within us, invisible to others except through its cost to our happiness. We need community to witness and validate our pain. In this circle we will gather and support each other from within ourselves in order to absolve our grief.
Everyone is welcome to share in this bequeathment of pain, sorrow, loss, and grief.
Feel free to bring a journal to write anything that comes up for you or any other items that can help ground you in the present moment or bring you comfort (a blanket, stuffy, anything that makes your heart happy) so we let go of this 'pack'.
