This social event offers an opportunity for Parents-to-Be, Breastfeeding Mothers, fathers, dads and partners and extended family members, to join us for our annual Summer Social, as part of World Breastfeeding Celebration Week. This event is open to all families, whether past or present - we love a LLL family catch up! Whatever your breastfeeding looks like, or if you have breast-weaned, we'd love to see you.
Please note, this is part of our World Breastfeeding Celebration Event and Mothers will receive a Boobie Badge and a small gift to celebrate their journey. THERE IS NO NEED TO BOOK ON, HOWEVER, IF YOU WISH TO RECEIVE YOUR FREE GIFT, IT'S ADVISED THAT YOU HAVE BOOKED ONTO THE EVENT.
If you're not booked on, you are still welcome to attend, BUT you may not get your free gift, as we may not have enough for everyone.
Meet up at the Cenotaph (free car parking available on adjacent streets to the park).
Please bring your picnic rugs, sun cream, sun hats and your picnic food. Sharing platters welcome.
Please feel welcome to bring some sharing games ie cricket, boules or maybe a kite?
We will also enjoy time at the playground and water splash zone, so please make sure you have suitable clothing & shoes for your LO's, including spare clothes, swim nappies and towels.
There is an adjacent ice-cream parlour where we can purchase ice creams, ice lollies & drinks.
LLLGB is a registered charity, and as such, we welcome donations to help pay for our ongoing group costs. Parents can donate any amount they wish to but a suggested donation of £3 per mother or £5 per family would be much appreciated.
Donations are payable in cash on the day.
