This workshop is for expectant parents / mothers / breastfeeding mothers at any stage of their journey, with information and practical tips to help prepare them for starting breastfeeding and supporting them on their journey.
The workshop is 1 hour long and will explore a different theme, dependant on the needs of the group, but may include topics such as ante natal preparation, starting breastfeeding, birth & breastfeeding, common difficulties, introducing solids & BLW, gentle parenting, night time parenting, breast weaning and life beyond the boob.
NO NEED TO BOOK ON: JUST COME ALONG.
Children of all ages welcome: there are toys and a play space for babies and toddlers. Partners / Support People welcome. Refreshments are provided. Ample FREE car parking..
There will be a variety of LLL gifts, literature and information packs for sale, so you may wish to bring some cash with you, in case there's something you'd like to buy.
Our group Mothers & Children's library will also be available - please speak to our Librarians if there's an item you'd like to borrow.
Mothers / Parents are invited to stay on after the workshop, so that they can have an opportunity to meet and talk to mums and access 1:1 support as needed.
Groups are all FREE to attend. However, LLLGB is a registered charity, and as such, we welcome donations to help pay for our ongoing group costs. Parents can donate any amount they wish to, but a suggested donation of £3.00 per mother / parent or £5.00 per family is much appreciated.
