Join me for a relaxed and engaging walk among the trees — the perfect way to savour the last weekend of summer.
Step into one of Ireland’s most beautiful native woodlands and explore the magic of the forest on this 5.5 km looped guided walk. As we wander the ancient paths of the Vale of Clara, you’ll learn to identify native trees like oak, birch, and holly by their leaves, bark, and shape — and discover the deep cultural and ecological stories they hold.
I’ll guide you through the forest, sharing insights from my background in botany and plant science, while we take time to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the stillness. If we’re lucky, we might spot red squirrels, woodpeckers, or even a red kite soaring above.
