Steeped in the rich traditions of pre-2K Country, Roots Music, and Southern Rock, Dustin blends these influences with modern sounds to create his own unique style. His dedication to his craft has taken him across the country, promoting his album Halos & Smoke Rings and sharing the stage with artists like Randy Houser, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Corey Smith, The Kentucky Headhunters, Aaron Raitiere, and more.
Born in Blytheville, Arkansas, and raised just over the border in Rives, Missouri, Dustin’s journey has been shaped by the places he’s called home. From five years in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to brief stays in Athens, Alabama, and even living in a camping trailer along the Current River in the Missouri Ozarks, each experience has added depth to his music. In 2014, he made Nashville, Tennessee, his home base.
For the past five years, Dustin has been on the road 3-5 days a week, playing everywhere from dive bars and pool halls to listening rooms and amphitheaters. His travels have taken him from Portland, Maine, to Key West, Florida, from Denver, Colorado, to San Antonio, Texas, through the Gulf Coast, the Missouri Bootheel, and the Carolinas—always finding his way back to Tennessee.
Now settled in Nashville, Dustin continues to write and perform, often with just his acoustic guitar in hand. He tours throughout the Southeast, managing an independent circuit he built from the ground up. From 2015 to 2018, he played in Palm Beach, Florida, with the Southern Rock/Country band Burnt Biscuit, and before that, he toured the Southeast with his trio, The Ramblers (2013-2015), along with various other collaborations.
