Safe City Cycling class

Join us to learn confident bike riding skills!
Certified League Cycling Instructors will lead the class. Safe City Cycling (SCC) is designed to teach adult cyclists how to use a bicycle with confidence and competence for pleasure, utility, and sport under various road, climate, terrain, and traffic conditions.

This class involves virtual learning, in-classroom overview, parking lot drills and on-the-road practice with certified instructors.
This is mostly an on-bike portion of the class. Before we ride, we will have an inside-class overview. Those who sign up will be provided a virtual link to provide additional knowledge information.

The on-bike portion of the class will start in an empty parking lot. We will practice cycling drills and maneuvers. Instructors and assistants spot riders for a complete safe environment. Then we will ride as a group in the street around the neighborhood.
Students must provide their own bicycle and helmet. Helmets are required for this portion of the class.
