Bug Fest 2025!

BugFest at River Bend Nature Center – June 6th, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Get ready for a night full of buzzing excitement! River Bend Nature Center is thrilled to present BugFest, returning bigger and better than ever! Join us on Friday, June 6th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for a fun-filled evening exploring the fascinating world of bugs.

Come face-to-face with nature’s creepiest crawlers, from a 10-inch millipede to a tarantula with eight curious eyes. Dive into the incredible world of insects and learn about their vital role in our ecosystem.

There’s something for everyone to enjoy! Discover the wonders of OSU’s Insect Adventure, where you can interact with a variety of insects. Test your skills in the Bug Hunt Contest, play exciting Bug Games, and get creative with Buggy Crafts. Don’t forget to dress up for our Bug Costume Contest and show off your best bug-inspired attire!

Step into the “Bug Stop” Live Collection, curated by River Bend, and explore the stunning “Peyton’s Place” Butterfly Exhibit in the Ruby N. Priddy Butterfly and Nature Conservatory.

Children: $6
Free for ages 1 and under
River Bend Members receive a $1 discount per member.
