Back to School Celebration: Ready. Set. School!

Join us on Tuesday August 12th from 9am to 5pm as we kick off the school year with a fun-filled day for the whole family at River Bend Nature Center! Ready, Set, School! is an all-day celebration packed with nature-themed activities, live animals, and classic summer treats.

Event highlights include:
-Free admission for children 17 and under
-A variety of hands-on activities and crafts designed for all ages
-Up-close experiences with live animals during our Animal Encounters
-Free popsicles and popcorn to help you cool off and enjoy the day

This is the perfect way to enjoy one last outdoor adventure before heading back to the classroom. No registration required—just show up ready to explore, learn, and celebrate the end of summer!
