VJ 80 Wreath Laying and Silence - Whitley Bay

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of VJ day and to take part in the national 2 minute silence we will be laying a wreath at the memorial on the Links.
This is an informal event and will not include a parade, band or public address system.
Members of the public are very welcome to join us and representatives of North Tyneside Council at the memorial.
