VJ 80 Wreath Laying and Silence - North Shields

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of VJ day and to take part in the national 2 minute silence we will be laying a wreath at the memorial on Hawkeys Lane.
This is an informal event and will not include a parade, band or public address system.
Members of the public are very welcome to join us at the memorial.
