Tom Lips (www.tomlips.ca) has been writing songs for five decades: love songs, protest songs, satirical songs, anthems, story songs, hymns, show tunes, and songs that are hard to categorize. He has recorded three CDs of original songs. His work is always thoughtful and heartfelt, and sometimes hilarious.

Have 2 or 3 songs to share? Maybe some poetry or magic? Sign up in person starting at 6 pm, and you get 12 minutes to perform for one of the most welcoming audiences in town. Bring your own instrument(s). Admission is free if you are performing.
About the event:
The Folk Society Coffeehouse is an all ages event that provides a venue for audiences to enjoy emerging local performers. It is on the first Saturday of each month from October to April. Bring extra cash to buy coffee, tea, and tasty treats from our friends Yukon Women in Music.
