Robotic Beach Cleanup

Join us for a morning of caring for Klode Park and its beautiful beach!
The Village of Whitefish Bay and Milwaukee Riverkeeper are teaming up for a robotic beach cleanup on

Plastic debris of all shapes and sizes is finding its way into the Great Lakes, and keeping our beaches clean is an important part of the battle against plastic pollution! We’ll be showcasing some innovative capture technologies that help prevent plastic and other waste from entering Lake Michigan.
Work alongside Milwaukee Riverkeeper’s BeBot,Taylor Sift, and get a chance to check out the Village’s new beach grooming equipment! Volunteers will assist in sorting the plastic debris collected, contributing to the health of our waterways and the beauty of our community.
✔ Signing up ahead of time helps us plan supplies like gloves and bags, but walk-ups are always welcome.
Together, we can keep our community spaces looking their best!
