Community Beer Garden featuring Katie & The Side Effects

Grab your friends and get ready for our free outdoor beer garden in the JCC Upper Courtyard! Join us for local brews from New Barons Brewing Co-op, live music by Katie & The Side Effects, and delicious eats for purchase. Each event is FREE to attend and open to our entire community – just bring lawn chairs, blankets, and good vibes!

About the band:
Katie and The Side Effects is a North Shore – based cover band made up of local parents who decided that day jobs and PTO meetings weren’t enough – we needed a side gig. What started as a fun way to blow off steam quickly turned into a full-blown musical experiment fueled by caffeine, carpools, and the occasional babysitter. We’re not in it for fame (thought we wouldn’t say no to a green room with snacks). We’re just a bunch of music- loving grown-ups chasing the joy of played together and covering our favorite tunes. Our sound is eclectic, our setlists unpredictable, and our rehearsals… well, they usually end by 10:00pm. Katie and The Side Effects, because everyone needs a little something on the side.
