Dirty Dayz is heading up da mountain!
Sabie, Mpumalanga will be the new stomping ground for this years Dirty Dayz. Adopting some trails from our mountain biking brothers and sisters, widening and shaping the trails to create a play ground for dirt boarding like never seen before.
We will have a Freestyle Jam session in "The Zen Garden", single track on red clay convoying into a dirt donga skate park and all while under the shade of the pine forest. Damn! I know right...
Boarder- X will be four man heats, knockout racing down a 900m long old mountain biking four cross track, which has been used as part of the final section for Downhill SA Mountain Biking Nationals, in most recent years. It has flowing tables, doubles and huge burms.
Downhill which will be a 1.5km individual time trial race down one of the mountain bike single tracks. Meandering thru the pine forest for 873m before entering the start of the boarder-x and finishing in front of the spectator zone, which has a great view up the hill to the Boarder-X track.
Food stalls and Beer tent will be available on the race dayz at finish line. Afterparty and prize giving will be held on Saturday night at the accommodation location, Sabie River Camp.

Some of the riders,especially our brothers and sisters from overseas, will be arriving as early as from the 15th for a fort night of mountain boarding mayhem. Going for a couple nights in the bush, freeriding, Panorama and Kruger Safari tour and even a beach trip to Mozambique...if everything goes well or to Cape Vidal as a plan B.
