RMOW’s 50th Community Picnic & Celebration

Celebrate the Resort Resort Municipality of Whistler’s 50th Anniversary with an afternoon of live entertainment, hands-on activities, and community connection at Olympic Plaza. Enjoy a vibrant mix of experiences, including a lively round of trivia with audience participation and giveaways, and a special live recording of the Whistler Podcast featuring reflections on Whistler’s past, present, and future. The celebration culminates in a high-energy, all-voices-welcome sing-along with Choir! Choir! Choir!—a joyful experience that brings the community together through music.

Around the plaza, explore interactive zones and cultural activities for all ages. The Arts Whistler Zone will include a pop-up market, live art demos, button making, and more creative fun. Enjoy classic summer fare from the Rotary Club of Whistler sandwich stand and cool down with locally made Lucia Gelato. Lawn games, casual gathering areas, and picnic spots invite you to relax and take in the festivities, while photo moments throughout the site offer fun ways to capture the day.
