The Committee of the Museums of Oglebay Institute seeks vendors for its Secret Gardens Outdoor Market from 9am -2pm Saturday, June 14, 2025 outside the Mansion Museum in Oglebay.
The brick pathways, porches, and grassy areas outside the Mansion Museum will be lined with merchants and artisans. It is a lovely outdoor setting.
The market is part of the Secret Gardens Tour & Market, which offers attendees an opportunity to explore five of the finest home gardens in the Ohio Valley with a self-guided tour as well as an opportunity to shop the outdoor marketplace.
In addition to tourgoers, the market is free and open to the public. It attracts local shoppers coming specifically to shop the market as well as guests at the lodge, cottages, cabins, and people enjoying the park.
The event is marketed heavily through social media advertising, targeted email campaigns, print materials, billboards, local media coverage, and radio advertising.
While the market will feature items to go with the “Secret Gardens" theme, vendors offering a wide range of items are invited to participate.
Items such as home décor, woodworking, plants and garden items, soaps and lotions, antiques, artwork, textiles, purses and totes, pottery, baskets, jewelry, and more are welcome.
