We are pleased to invite Dr. Mark Peterson, who earned his Ph.D. in Korean Studies from Harvard University, for a special lecture on Korean history titled: “Korean Liberation: 80 Years in the Rearview Mirror.”
Dr. Peterson, author of The Frog Outside the Well, will guide us through a retrospective journey spanning the 80 years since Korea’s liberation. The lecture will be delivered in Korean, accompanied by an English-language presentation.

This historic milestone provides an opportunity to reflect on the legacy of the independence movement and to honor the spirit of liberation.
