What is the next-level soulful unfolding that is awaiting in you to be ignited or acknowledged via ceremony? As we create ceremonies, we step from the ordinary into the sacred. We move into deeper connection with ourselves and the world, marking this unique moment in our lives. Ritual asks us to be active and intentional participants in the unfolding of our story. Whether we create a ceremony to grieve the loss of a loved one or a part of ourselves, to celebrate the start of a new chapter in our lives or even to enliven our everyday passages ~ ritual helps to mark the spot, to catch us up physically, emotionally and energetically. I’ll share my personal connection to making ceremonies throughout my life, including the opportunity of making more everyday magic through the art and ongoing practice of making our own unique ceremonies. We’ll talk about the importance of resourcing our ideas and ingredients sustainably and ethically, reaching into the roots of our authentic belonging. You will be guided through deep imaginative waking dream-space to consider what ceremony is waiting to be unveiled in your life presently. Intentional art-making and potion-making will be included to help support the process. I’ll walk you through a process of planning your very own self-designed ceremony, to perform on your own (not in class time). You’ll leave class feeling supported and inspired, with a solid and potent personal plan to unleash your very own self-designed ceremony in the days ahead.
YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Emily Duhaime has been a dreamer, an artist and a magic-maker since early childhood and so it makes sense that these are inextricably interwoven in all aspects of her world. Emily is a soulful & creative life coach, art therapist, mentor, guide, artist and dreamer. Trained as a transpersonal psychotherapist and art therapist, she provides soul-centered life coaching through art therapy, dreamwork, plant spirit guidance and self-designed ceremony support to those individuals who are called to step deeply in, bridging their everyday and spiritual selves.
She graduated with a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, IL and went on to earn an MA from Naropa University, CO, practicing as a licensed transpersonal art psychotherapist for over 20 years. She lives in Denver and is happy and grateful to be making and selling intentional art, custom portraits and talismans, all in her unique and dreamy style of Magical Realism, where the worlds of spirit and flesh, magic and ‘reality’ come together.
Having always known herself as a Witch, she is one who holds deep intentions of health, healing, love and increased spiritual consciousness for all. She dedicates her life to becoming visible in her magic and to supporting others to also live unapologetically into their own unique experience of their divinity.
