Time for the 'T' - All the letters are there for a reason, People! Its LGBTQIA+

Join us at Pride HQ on Saturday 10th May for some Defiant gender bending ecstatic dancing while we raise a middle finger to turfs and the anti trans, and anti non-binary movement. We need to remind them that biology goes beyond ** and XY and that trans, intersex and non-binary people exist. We all have a right to thrive, and no one understands us better than ourselves.
Come and dress to express gender diversity, or dress in the colours of the trans, intersex or nonbinary flags. Our trans, nonbinary and intersex whanau need love and support now more than ever. It takes a village after all!

Our Te Tai Tokerau Māori Party MP, Mariameno Kapa-Kingi will be joining us from 6pm to share kai (provided by Te Pāti Māori) and kōrero about Winston Peters’ proposed bill defining a woman. She has been asked to give a formal response to this kaupapa and wants our input before writing it.

So, kai & kōrero 6pm THEN
Dancing from 7pm until whenever (around midnight ish)

There will be a burning hot brazier too!
