Whangarei 4wd Club are hosting the FORCE4 Singles Winch Challenge 2025 at Possum Palace over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd August, 2025
Details are as follows;
• Entry fee of $160
• All drivers must be NZFWDA affiliated
• This is a non-spectator event
• Camping on-site, showers and toilets provided
• All day food for competitors
• Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd placings
Event Schedule
Friday 1st August
• Arrive anytime
• Scrutineering of competition vehicles 5-6pm, at main entry(by showers)
• Marshall registration 6pm, at main entry(by showers)
• Drivers briefing 6:30pm
• Night stages to start 7pm(DNF times apply)
• Random order of starting
Saturday 2nd August
• Drivers Brief 7:30am at the main entry
• First stage issued 7:45 am
• Last stage issued 4:00
• Prize giving at 5:30pm by the shower block
All Teams must meet the following criteria:
• All teams must provide a Marshall for the weekend, no Marshall, no entry
• No low mount winches as the main winch
• Trucks must have a roof over at least the driver & passenger and a roll cage.
• Helmets are compulsory, helmets must have a face lens or goggles if no windscreen
• There is a minimum tire size of 31” @ 30psi and a maximum tire size of 36.5” @ 30psi
• Each team must have a minimum of 1 ground anchor (compulsory)
• Trucks do not need to have a registration or WOF but will need to pass event scrutineering.
