Parish Advent Mission 2025 - Theme: “Our Advent Experience in Preparation for Christmas”

Guest Speaker: Dr. Dianne M. Traflet, J.D., S.T.D.

Associate Dean and Professor of Pastoral Theology, Immaculate Conception Seminary

Dr. Dianne Traflet is an accomplished theologian, author, and retreat leader. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, an M.A. in Catholic Theology from St. John’s University, and both her S.T.L. and S.T.D. from the Angelicum in Rome. Her scholarship centers on pastoral theology, Marian spirituality, women mystics, and the life and writings of St. Edith Stein.

A gifted teacher and speaker, Dr. Traflet has offered numerous retreats and days of recollection across the country. She serves on the Board of Governors of St. Joseph’s Seminary in New York and is a member of the theological faculty of the Pastoral Provision. Her Advent reflection will draw from a rich spiritual tradition, helping us to prepare our hearts with faith, tenderness, and deep trust in the Lord’s coming.
