Guest Speaker: Dr. Gregory Y. Glazov

Professor and Chair of Biblical Studies, Immaculate Conception Seminary

Dr. Gregory Glazov was born in Russia and emigrated to the United States with his family at the age of ten. A Rhodes Scholar, he earned both his M.Phil. and D.Phil. at Oxford University in Jewish Studies in the Graeco-Roman world. He is a distinguished biblical scholar with deep expertise in Old Testament theology, Jewish-Christian dialogue, and the use of Scripture in Holocaust literature.

Dr. Glazov’s work reflects a profound concern for human suffering, divine consolation, and the healing power of God’s Word. His parish presentations are known for their clarity, depth, and spiritual warmth, often highlighting the biblical foundations of cherished Christian prayers. We are blessed to welcome him as he shares his Advent experience and invites us to rediscover the hope found in Scripture.
