Fire Safety Topics:
• Disaster Readiness and Evacuation Preparation presented by Plumas Rural Services and Plumas County Office of Emergency Services: Sign up for the Genasys Emergency ALERT System. Make an evacuation plan; guidelines for packing a GO-BAG and STAY-BOX.
• CalFire: Review the Zone Zero and Home Hardening tasks that can save your home during wildfire events. Review the CalFire Home Inspection process.
• Peninsula/Hamilton Branch Fire Protection Districts: often the First Responders to our Neighborhood during any fire or emergency. Do you have a Fire Dept approved reflective green address posted at your driveway approach? It can make a difference in the time it takes to find you during an emergency!!
