Why is grounding important?
By grounding, you fully connect with the physical dimension that you operate in. It is a wonderful remedy for those moments in which we feel triggered, overwhelmed, too tired to live, all over the place, confused or panicked.
Being grounded is something that we all need. When we’re a grounded person we feel present in our bodies, calm and certain of what we need to do. We’re in touch with ourselves and are able to tackle the day with a certain grace and ease.
But more often than not, the busyness and craziness of our lives pull us out of this state – feeling the opposite of being grounded.
Here are 5 signs that you’re not currently grounded:
1. Your mind is racing and busy but you can’t focus on any one thing that you need to do.
2. You find yourself engaging in easy distractions to avoid both your tasks and your own looping thoughts.
3. You are tired and wired at the same time.
4. You find it difficult to complete projects and jump from one thing to another.
5, You feel restless and discontent with your surroundings, yourself, and the people around you.
Why Sound is important?
One of the most profound tools for achieving spiritual grounding is sound. From ancient traditions to contemporary practices, sound has been recognized for its transformative power in enhancing spiritual experiences and promoting emotional well-being.
Meditative practices incorporating sound can deepen your experience significantly.
Tibetan or crystal singing bowls produce rich harmony and tones that are felt throughout the body. Striking or rubbing the rim creates vibrations that many find conducive to deep meditation.
Along with those sounds, Christine also uses chimes, gongs, a wave drum, and more. All of the different sounds will produce a different effect on the body. Some say they feel a sense of release, some say relaxation, and some even say they feel as though they were no longer here, but off floating in a different dimension.
