Bio
Formed in 2020, New England-based The Wicked Lo-Down caught the blues world by surprise with their exceptional debut album “We Hot” in 2022. In 2024 they released their critically acclaimed follow-up, “Out Of Line,” via Gulf Coast Records (the record imprint of blues legend Mike Zito). Their fiery and soulful mix earned them a spot at last year's coveted Moulin Blues Festival in the Netherlands.
While the name The Wicked Lo-Down might not immediately come to mind, it won't remain that way for long given their serious technical chops and true feel for the blues. Led by well-know guitarist Paul Size (of The Red Devils) and bluesharp veteran Nick David, the band is rounded out by bassist Brad Hallen, guitarist Jeff Berg, and drummer Nick Toscano.
Expect steamy Texas blues with an East Coast twist. Raw blues harp interspersed with gritty guitar riffs.
