On Saturday July 5th, The Carroll County Farmer’s Market will help you get ready for your 4th of JULY weekend celebrations. Come early and let us help you with your baked goods, vegetables, and decorations for your weekend celebrations. We have local sweet corn and local tomatoes this week!
This week customers will find local tomatoes, corn, blueberries, cherries, lettuce, kale, Swiss chard, onions, peas, radishes, zucchini, beets, squash, cucumbers, garlic, peppers, collards, herbs, and cabbage.
Our food stands provide home baked goods, including cakes, pies, scones, cookies, breads, rolls and biscotti. You will also find jams and jellies, honey, nuts, fresh eggs, Farm Raised beef, pork, and lamb for your barbequing needs, and more.
Our plant vendors will have hanging baskets, annuals, perennials and herb plants to spruce up your patio area.
The Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your gardening questions. Each week local artisans will offer an assortment of handmade crafts. Items available include seasonal decorations, fabric crafts, jewelry, photography, pottery, painted wood crafts and more.
The cafeteria is open during market hours for breakfast and lunch. Pancakes and egg sandwiches are great for breakfast and don’t miss out on a slice of homemade pie or cake.
The Carroll County Farmers Market is held in Westminster, Maryland at the Agricultural Center, located on Smith Avenue, adjacent to the Farm Museum.
Hours for the Summer Market are 8am-1pm
The Summer Session of Farm Market runs each Saturday throughout the summer.
Admission and parking are free.
We are handicapped accessible and busses are welcome.
