Weaving Small Baskets with Invasive Ivy

Coming up during the Harmony Arts Festival!

Learn the art of simple basket weaving using English ivy—an invasive species that threatens local ecosystems. In this hands-on beginner workshop, you’ll discover how to turn an environmental problem into creative potential.

English ivy is a flexible, forgiving material and widely available in our region. By harvesting and using it, we help reduce its impact on native habitats while creating something beautiful and useful. Tea and cookies provided. Limited to 12 participants.
