One Room Theatrics, Inc. is proud to announce that auditions for the first show of its 2025/2026 season, Bridget Carpenter’s The Faculty Room, will take place Sunday, May 25, 2025 from 12pm to 5pm at the Conference Room at West Rutland Town Hall.
SHOW DESCRIPTION
The Faculty Room is a dark comedy which explores the darker side of high school life from the inside of that mythic room, the teacher’s lounge. Four teachers are all taunted by the disembodied voice of the principal over the PA system. Dedicated yet desperate, inspired yet burnt out, hateful yet loving – the teachers of Madison Feury High are a bundle of contradictions.
This production of The Faculty Room will be produced by One Room Theatrics and directed by Mike Mitrano. Performances will be taking place at Stone Valley Arts in Poultney, Vermont Friday, August 29 (7pm), Saturday, August 30 (2pm + 7pm), and Sunday, August 31 (2pm).
No preparation is necessary, but a headshot and acting resume will be required.
