Monday's are the worst aren't they? Not anymore! Turn the previous worst day of the week, into the best! Drop by anytime after 3PM and use Monday's to be mindful and set your week up for success! Need a couple quiet hours to just read that book you never have the time or quiet to read? How about some time to set up your week's schedule and set intentions without distractions? Maybe you just want a little you time to pick up your knitting or work on your art, or even just a place to do some yoga with good company, and a view of nature.
Starting the week doing something to set intentions and to find a creative outlet, sets you up for a more positive week ahead, and makes it easier to fall back into healthy patterns when you fall off track. Join me on the homestead for a mindful start to the week. Some times I will have my bowls out and may play them a bit, some times I may have my paints out and have some relaxing music playing in the background. There may be a fire going from time to time, and always refreshments and good vibes <3 I may even break out the poi for some movement and flow time. No matter the vibes each week, this is a safe judgement free space where you can find peace and love and time for yourself.
The homestead is 1 acre of land in the process of being developed into a tiny home community on the hillside. A vegetable garden with a winding lit path through garden gates and arbors leads you into the back yard, with a breathtaking view to the north and east. Joleen the resident sister tree, stands guard at the entrance to the backyard, and welcomes you to the homestead and the Enlightenment Nest, (the bright teal and purple shed Jasmine works out of) Behind the Enlightenment Nest nestled in the wood line, you'll find the pride and joy of the homestead, the hammock grove. Complete with 9 hammocks, an egg swing, rugs, lights, chimes, bird feeders, and prisms, you will find the perfect amount of sun in the spring, shade in the summer, and breeze in the autumn. Just bring bug spray for when the things with wings start to emerge!
When parking, there is limited space in the driveway. Be sure to only park on the right of the concrete barrier wall, or on the side of the road in front of the house. A blanket or extra layer is encouraged in case the wind picks up on the mountainside as it often does. If the weather looks messy, cold, or I have another event come up, I will skip a week and post in the event discussion page when that happens. This is a donation based event, with a suggested donation of $33. Cash and Venmo are accepted at the event.
This is my private residence where my family and animals live. Be aware you will be greeted by a dog, cats, chickens, and possibly children when you arrive, but all are friendly ❤
