🥞 Saturday, August 23 – Pancake Day at Little Nestlings

Bring your appetite for fun—Pancake Day is here! We’ll start the morning with a reading of Pancakes, Pancakes! by Eric Carle, a delightful story that takes children through the journey of making a perfect pancake from scratch.

Then, little chefs will roll up their sleeves to make pancakes in a bag—they’ll add the ingredients, give it a good shake, and pour their batter onto the griddle. We’ll have a dairy-free option so everyone can join in the delicious fun.

While pancakes cook, children can enjoy a pancake-inspired play dough activity, exploring shapes, textures, and pretend cooking in our playful, hands-on way.
