Meditation Workshop: DEEP REST, COMPASSION & WISE ACTION

Join this meditation workshop with Insight teacher, Suzie Brown, to support you to reclaim rest and slow down from the busyness of daily life. We’ll bring compassion towards the ways we strive and push ourselves, often too hard.

Deep rest is crucial for healing and resetting our nervous systems, helping us to find more ease and balance in our life. For most of us, deep rest is missing from our lives.

And the restorative effects of deep rest and calm allow us to arise with more energy and compassion: the ground for wise action.

This 3-hour workshop will include guided meditations, contemplative reflections, walking meditation and gentle movement.

You will identify and address the causes and conditions that hinder your ability to rest, and discover how rest is necessary for both personal and collective freedom from suffering.

Arrive 1pm for 1.30 start. Tickets cover cost of venue hire only, donations (dana) for the teacher will be invited at the end of the workshop.
