West End Uniting Church

UPDATE UPDATE

Rain is forecast for Saturday, so the West End Uniting Church. has allowed any keen sketchers to arrive at 8.30, so we can have the two hours inside away from the rain and have the throw down inside at 10.30. So it is a very early start. If the weather is OK then, I plan to stick around for a bit and sketch outside or get a coffee close by.

There is a recently confirmed funeral service in the Church at 11am this Saturday which is why we need to leave by 10.30am.

This is a joint project with the Church to host an exhibition of urban sketches to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the church. It is a fine building with a great history, and one that we have sketched many times.

We will confirm the dates for the exhibition as soon as we can, and we may need a few volunteers to assist. So stay tuned.
