The Welcome Walk is the Romero Centreโs major annual fundraising appeal โ and ๐ ๐๐๐ค๐๐๐๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ก ๐๐ ๐ค๐๐๐๐๐๐ for people seeking safety in Brisbane.
Join us for a 3km or 6km walk along the Brisbane River, followed by an afternoon of cultural performances, storytelling, delicious Ethiopian coffee, BBQ, vibrant market stalls, family-friendly activities โ and a lucky draw!
With just a $20 donation at registration, you can help provide an essential food care pack to someone doing it tough.
Your participation directly supports people seeking asylum with vital services including case coordination, housing, food relief, English classes, employment support, and social inclusion.
Letโs walk together for a more compassionate and welcoming community!
