Mending the Web: Awakening to Our Relationship With Creation

"If the soul could have known God without the world, the world would have never been created." - Meister Eckhart

You are in a relationship with Creation. You have been since birth, and possibly even before that. The question is: Are you are aware of this relationship?

Amidst the retreat center's farm, forest, and riverbanks, we will look at what it means to be in relationship with versus in relationship to Creation, and examine how this relationship with Creation is really union with God. Led by Samantha Trolice, Program Manager for Spiritual Formation, and Laura Alexander, the retreat center's farm manager, we'll draw from scripture, poetry, music and science, as we ponder our responsibility to nourish, support and liberate Creation.

This retreat will take place predominantly outdoors in all types of weather and will include physical activity/movement.
