Learn the Shim Sham

The Shim Sham is a tradition in the swing dance community. With roots in Harlem, NY, this line dance is a staple at many dance events. Heartland Swing keeps this tradition going at each dance, and we want you to be able to dance along! This 1.5 hour course will teach you the basic steps you need to join us in the Shim Sham at our dances! No partner or experience is required to take this course.

Pre-registration required. Registration closes 1 week before the class starts. In the unlikely event that there isn’t enough interest, we will notify you, issue a refund, and reschedule the class for a later date. No refunds unless class is cancelled or rescheduled.
