STAYING YOUNGER Exercise Programme
Tuesdays: 1:45 - 2:45pm
A friendly, supportive exercise session designed to help you maintain and improve flexibility, balance, strength, posture, and overall well-being.
These sessions use a gentle combination of Pilates-based movement, physiotherapy exercises, and elements of the Alexander Technique, with particular attention given to correcting posture and easing everyday aches and pains.
✔️ Generally aimed at ages 60+, but open to anyone for whom the session is appropriate
✔️ No floor work - all exercises are performed standing, using a chair or wall for support if needed
✔️ Suitable for a wide range of abilities
✔️ Welcoming, relaxed, and encouraging environment
As well as supporting general fitness and mobility, these sessions can be especially helpful for those recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, and may also support mental well-being, including helping to combat low mood or depression.
