You don’t have to be a member of our leisure centre or have visited us before to get involved in our Big Open Weekend, so why not bring your friends and family along too?

Fitness Activities
Free Gym Induction for the day and Day Pass
Saturday & Sunday: 8am - 5pm
Our friendly gym and fitness team will be on hand to help, show you around and provide free, on-the-spot inductions where you get chance to get on some of the equipment and make yourself familiar with the centre.
We can also provide you with a FREE Boditrax Scan: This is an amazingly clever system that assesses your body and, very quickly, delivers 14 different measurements, such as your ideal weight, your BMI and your metabolic age, as well as your fat and muscle mass. It's completely free to use, and you can also get a free review of your results.

Free Fitness Class
Saturday:
8.15am - Indoor Cycling
9am - Beginner Circuits
10am - Small Group Training
Sunday:
10am - Boxercise Circuits
11am - Beginners Boxercise
Good Boost Taster Sessions
Good Boost is an app based therapeutic aqua exercise programme which has been specially designed for people with musculoskeletal conditions. These sessions are instructor lead and in the water for 30 minutes.
Try it for yourself from 11am - 1pm on Sunday.

Swimming Sessions
Free Taster Swimming Lessons
Saturday and Sunday: 8am - 12pm
Whether you're looking to sharpen your swim strokes or build confidence in the water, this special session is perfect for swimmers of all abilities. Led by expert instructors, it’s a great chance to dive in, learn new techniques, and enjoy the pool - exclusively free for the day!
Already have a confident swimmer? Then join us for Distance Medal awards. Try to see if they can achieve a Distance Medal from 5m - 400m. Medals can be purchased from reception.
