Allegany County WIC will be kickstarting World Breastfeeding Week with an event on July 31, 2025. 🎉🎉
This year’s theme for World Breastfeeding Week is: “Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems.” Support from parents, family, friends, employers, and community members makes a difference.

Date: July 31st
Time: 1:00pm-5:00pm
Location: Island Park in Wellsville, NY
Since creating support is so important we will be having local community resources here during the event. Some helpful resources that will be at the event are: Ardent Solutions, they will be doing Car Seat Checks, Fidelis Care Health Insurance, Healthy Families Allegany-Cattaraugus, Southern Tier Health Care System, Inc., and the Allegany County Health Department.
Prizes and light refreshments will be available. Also, current WIC participants that have not yet picked up their Farmer’s Market checks will be able to do so as well. 🥒🥕🍅
Help us promote breastfeeding which will assist in creating a future where all families have the support they need. 🌸
