Monteverdi Vespers

Join us for our major project of the year! This will be the first time this groundbreaking work has been performed in Wellington for over a decade.


Juxtaposing Renaissance melodies and polyphony with the rich virtuosity and colour of Baroque instruments, intimate vocal solos with a choir and orchestra of unprecedented grandeur, and dazzling opulence with striking emotional and spiritual depth, this will be an unmissable performance



We are thrilled to be joined by an incredible orchestra of top musicians from the NZSO and leading international artists! Come hear the striking tones of cornetti, dulcian, archlutes, Baroque recorders and more!
