Working with Polymer Clay

Polymer clay is a versatile, plastic-based modelling material that stays soft until baked in a home oven, hardening permanently, and is popular for detailed crafts like jewellery, miniatures, and home decor.

In this class, participants will learn skills to get started in the wonderful world of polymer clay. This session will cover the basics of the working with polymer clay, we will learn how to shape by hand and create an amazing dragonfly, the dos and don'ts of applying various powders to the surface, how to bake your pieces and just how much fun polymer clay can be.

$50 covers tuition, tools, and materials for the project.

Your tutor: · Deb is a self-taught artist who specialises in polymer clay, producing a diverse range of dragons, figures, sculptures, and jewellery. Her expertise also encompasses glasswork, tile art, lead lighting, and mosaics, through which she consistently delivers high-quality pieces across various artistic mediums.
