Hi all!
I would like to invite you to attend our FREE TRAINING FOR PROFESSIONALS to develop your understanding around Honour-Based Abuse!
*****This opportunity is supported by West Midlands Police and is highly recommended for anyone working with others within education, services and other community projects as a safeguarding priority!***
We provide an in-depth look into the origins of HBA focusing on the extreme end of the spectrum *Honour Killings*! Guests will gain a valuable understanding into the 'Mindset Of A Perpetrator', 'Differential Treatment', 'Community Collusion' and 'Impact On A Victim'. It is enriched with professional insight and survivor stories and involves interactive activities to raise discussion in a safe place.
The training will be divided into two significant parts:
- Honour in a Crime? Workshop (11am-2pm)
- 'Daddy's Little...Izzat' Film Screening (3pm-5pm)
*****It is recommended that you attend both parts of this event so that you can maximise on your understanding!*****
