Two separate 4-hour sessions offered morning and afternoon:
⏰ Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
⏰ Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
👥 Capacity: 20 firefighters per session

🚒 Session 1: Hose Draggers
An Engine Company Course for Those Who Do the Work
This isn’t a probie class. It’s for any firefighter—any rank—who wants to sharpen engine company skills and be more effective on the nozzle, at the door, and at the seat of the fire. We don’t teach dragging hose—we teach moving with intent.
You’ll train on:
✅ Solo hoseline deployments in under 10 seconds
✅ Advancing and flowing water with limited staffing
✅ Smart nozzle control and water placement
✅ Getting to the seat of the fire in under 2 minutes
✅ Extinguishment using less than 500 gallons of tank water
✅ Operating efficiently so you don’t feel the heat—because the fire is being controlled
🧰 Gear Required: Structural firefighting gear (no SCBA required)

🔥 Session 2: Max Fire Box Phase I & II – Burn & Learn
Fire Behavior & Thermal Imaging
This session includes a short classroom review of fire behavior and thermal imaging concepts followed by live-fire exercises using the Max Fire Box Phase I & II.
You’ll learn to:
✅ Understand fire behavior and how it impacts tactics
✅ Read thermal imaging for real-time decision-making
✅ Simulate fire scenarios and assess conditions with a TIC
✅ Build confidence with your own camera during active fire training
📸 Please bring the thermal imaging camera your department uses. We’ll also have multiple makes and models on-site for hands-on comparison.
