About the event

A History of Marshall County WV and the Marshall County Historical Society
Join us and our friends from the Marshall County Historical Society on May 20th 2025 to meet Trent Dayton, who grew up in Wheeling WV but now lives in Moundsville. He is a graduate of Wheeling Park High School and worked at the former West Virginia Penitentiary for a several years. He is now an AmeriCorps member with the Preservation Alliance of West Virginia and serves with the Marshall County Historical Society. He has volunteered at the Cockayne Farmstead for about two years, but now he is at the Marshall County History Museum. Trent is also on the Moundsville Historic Landmarks Commission.

Trent will be discussing History of Marshall County WV, as well as the mission and goals of the Marshall County Historical Society!

It should definitely be a fun and informative Evening!
