The two-time ASCAP Country Songwriter of the Year started his career writing hits for other country music superstars, including Tim McGraw (My Next Thirty Years), Alan Jackson (Right on the Money) and Jo Dee Messina (Bye Bye, I'm Alright). In 1999, he embarked on a solo career and never looked back. And that's a fact.
With nine albums, ten #1 singles and 27 Top 40 hits on the country music charts, the piano-pounding powerhouse has definitely left his mark.
