The Stone Age Sewing Kit Workshop

Explore the evidence for and the practicality of the Stone Age Sewing Kit with Sally Pointer. Have the chance to use flint tools to cut deerskin and experience sewing it using bone awls and real sinew, as well as plant fibres. Make your own needle case, get to grips with thread production, and start designing and making a sewing bag of your own using a range of traditional leathers, flax and nettle fabrics and stone age inspired beads.
