Become the writer you’ve always wanted to be! Join the Waterloo Writer’s Workshop series to hear from local authors about their writing process, discuss writing workshop books, and share your own work with fellow writers. See below for details on each session.

Wednesday, January 14: Grant Tracey on Writing Compelling Characters:
What makes us love certain characters from our favorite books? Join us as professor, novelist, and editor, Grant Tracey, teaches us what goes into writing complicated, compelling protagonists.

Wednesday, January 28: Intro Session with Library Assistants Nolan and Seth:
This introductory session will provide participants a foundation of what the Waterloo Writer's Workshop is, including discussion of what to expect at meetings, ground rules, and what it is like to participate in a creative writing workshop.
