2025 Hagey Lecture - Dr. Edward Doolittle, Indigenous mathematics
Join us for a thought-provoking talk by Dr. Edward Doolittle, a Kanyen’kehake (Mohawk) mathematician from Six Nations and associate professor at First Nations University and the University of Regina. A Fellow of the Canadian Mathematical Society and recipient of the Adrien Pouliot Award, Dr. Doolittle explores how Indigenous Mathematics can be developed as a distinct discipline—one grounded in Indigenous logic, philosophy, and culture.
